On 27 and 28 of February 2019 took place in Tirana the 5th Tirana Gas Pipeline Safety Workshop. This is an initiative launched in 2015. It is organised by the Embassy of Greece in Tirana in cooperation with MANAGEMENT FORCE Group who sponsors this initiative and it enjoys the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy in Albania.
MANAGEMENT FORCE Group is a specialized Health and Safety Consultant with a rich experience in Oil and gas Sector and the major safety services provider to TAP in Greece and Albania.
A Cocktail reception offered to speakers and officials on 27th whilst the main event took place on 28th. The event moved a step forward in relation to the previous four, broadening its horizons and objectives by sharing knowledge and experience between Oil and Gas sector and other sectors and the society at large.
Distinguished speakers representing descent organization and EU institutions, including EU OSHA, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Hellenic Hydrocarbon Resource Management, SNAM, ENOIA, INFRAKOS, IVME, along with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the Albania Gas Services Company, the State Labour Inspectorate and the Authority for Safety and Emergency in Mines, delivered their latest developments in health and safety.
The event attracted the interest of private and public sector. Delegates and speakers from seven countries participated including Albania, Greece, Italy, UK, Spain, Kosovo, Turkey and Bulgaria. Also Post-graduation students (MSc) and their professors from the Tirana University, Faculty of Geology and Mines attended the workshop.
Works were very productive and confirmed the need to stay connected and work together.
