Evangelos Tzitzis

With extensive experience in unmanned and robotic systems, I have built my career as Operations Director and Business Development Manager in leading companies across the sector. I was the first to introduce the operational use of drones for HSQE monitoring and the deployment of anti-drone systems for the protection of critical infrastructure in Greece and Southeast Europe, setting new standards for safety and efficiency.

Today, as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Aegean Robotics, I focus on taking unmanned and robotic technologies to the next level of innovation and excellence-delivering mission-ready solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational capability across the Energy and Critical Infrastructure sectors.

Mr. Asterios Lialios

Health, Safety, Fire Safety, and Environment Manager at HELPE’s Aspropyrgos and Elefsina Refineries

With over 23 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Starting his career in 2000 as a Process Engineer at Petrola Hellas Refinery, he has since held key positions in operations, oil movement and marine functions. Since 2012, he has led major initiatives to enhance HSE performance through standardization, innovation, and a strong focus on human behavior. As a result, the refineries have achieved significant improvements, including a 50% reduction in Lost Worktime Incidents and a fourfold increase in near-miss reporting. Mr. Lialios emphasizes that safety is not just about systems and procedures, but about cultivating trust, communication, and a sustainable safety culture. He has collaborated with global experts from Shell and ExxonMobil and continues to advocate for openness as the cornerstone of effective safety management

Paul Clegg DipNEBOSH, CMIOSH

Director of Reliability at NEBOSH

With more than 39 years’ experience working within deep coal mining, civil engineering, and educational sectors. He is a Chartered Member of IOSH. He joined NEBOSH as a Standards Officer back in 2008, following 22 years working underground for the National Coal Board covering disciplines in surveying and geotechnical engineering before becoming training officer for the Selby Complex in North Yorkshire. Following the closure of the coal mines, Paul then became Health and Safety Training Manager at Wakefield College responsible for the management and facilitation of various training courses, including the National General Certificate, before becoming Health, Safety and Environment Engineer as part of Minova International dealing with all aspects of mining, tunnelling and civil engineering.

Paul’s role involves being responsible for the Reliability Unit to ensure that the strategic management and quality assurance of assessment within NEBOSH is established, maintained, and remains fit for purpose.

Russell is internationally recognised for his leadership in, and the design and delivery of, Health and Safety Training programmes throughout the UK, Europe the Middle East, and Africa.
Russell has a great deal of experience in developing and implementing innovative employee programs with substantial bottom-line benefits.
Russell can also provide both H&S and Technical Training to any level of audience from Board Level to the employees, ensuring that all intended learning outcomes are met and people are able to utilise their new skills and knowledge within their organisation

With more than 10 years of experience in Construction of Solar Projects, HPP projects, Exploration for Oil &Gas fields, etc., he has held roles like HSE Coordinator; Environmental Site representative; HSS Training Manager; HSES Manager; etc. He has a proven track record in reducing incident rates, Training facilitation, improving safety cultures across diverse Industries.

Majlinda Mishaxhi

Health and Safety Professional.

Mina has over 35 years of working experience across diverse industries. She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana, earned in 1989. Mina’s career began in heavy industry, where she served as Health and Safety Manager at the Antea Cement Plant during its operational phase. She later advanced into the oil and gas sector, contributing to major international projects such as the Trans Adriatic Pipeline and the Mozambique LNG project with Total Energies as HSE Lead. In 2021, she joined Shell in Albania as HSSE Manager. In addition to her industry roles, Mina lectures part-time at the European University of Tirana, teaching “Safety at Work and Site Organization” to civil engineering undergraduates. This role underscores her commitment to fostering a culture of safety through education, knowledge, and awareness. She believes that empowering individuals with knowledge and skills is the foundation for building safe, strong organizations.

Serena Meçaj

Bringing years of dedicated experience in Occupational Health & Safety across the telecommunications, food manufacturing, and aluminum industries. She is NEBOSH IGC-certified and an accredited internal auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. Serena holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering and a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering. With a career devoted entirely to Safety, she focuses on developing practical risk prevention strategies, strengthening safety culture, and implementing effective management systems in complex industrial environments.
